Hi,
Thinking of you right now… Have you wondered what your purpose for being here is? Does that question ever come to you in the middle of the night? Are you learning about developing your intuition and CRV because you are seeking a deeper connection?
I thought I had come here – to this life, to Earth, right now – to serve. During my Jesus People days, I thought I was here to ‘save souls’. During my refugee resettlement days, I was sure I had been born to rescue the persecuted. And these past 25 years, to teach CRV. And beginning 49 years ago, I thought it was to be a mother to so many children and grandchildren.
But no.
While I have been and am those things, they are not the reason I am here. And that is not why you are here, either.
You are here to experience life in all of its many facets.
If you think of “God” or “The Universe” or Consciousness as a Being – a Being wanting to experience more – it makes sense to think that we are all a part of that Consciousness, As such, we are here to be the eyes, ears, and fingers of God. “God” – or however you perceive that which I am referring to as God – is Love.
Love knows no fear. Love is unconditional. Love realizes that we are all perfect in our imperfection. Love knows that you and I are alike, that we are parts of the same whole, which is Consciousness.
What is Perfection?

Jim with Luna, our newest family member.
Perfection is not perfect. The perfection we have been taught is unattainable. But in the eternal, timeless Cosmos we inhabit, everything is perfect because it is here for us to experience. And our experience is perfect, because no matter what is occurring, we are fulfilling our reason for being.
True perfection lies in the simple fact that every experience we have—every joy, every sorrow—is exactly what our souls came here to experience. By relaxing into life’s natural flow, we ease the acute suffering caused by resistance and fear.
Relaxing into the flow of life, accepting that whatever is happening is what was meant to happen – for the benefit of our experience – and knowing that this is the very purpose of our existence—removes the pain and fear we feel.
Do We Fear Death? Or Do We Fear Suffering?
Most of us don’t truly fear death. We fear suffering:
‘What if this happens and I suffer?’
‘What if that happens and we suffer?’
‘What if my child makes a mistake and suffers?’
‘What if we make the wrong choice and it causes suffering?’
We cause ourselves to suffer from the fear and worry of all the terrible things that are happening, that might happen, and that have happened.
But what if we accept them now?
If and when tomorrow brings something terrible—like loss, unfairness, pain, sorrow, deprivation, or suffering—what if I accept it willingly? What if I say “ok” to the Universe and just relax into the flow of whatever life brings
Complacency vs. Compassion and Unconditional Love

Jim and Lori with Jeffrey Mishlove and his beautiful wife Janelle.
I do not believe in complacency in the face of atrocities, cruelty or the mistreatment of others. I am not endorsing passivity in the face of injustice or cruelty. I’d still shelter Anne Frank and her family if presented with that opportunity.
Our life experience here, now, is – in part – to see what we will do when faced with difficult moral and ethical choices.
And like you, I have made plenty of mistakes along my path. But now I understand that part of my path is learning to love myself unconditionally, which means forgiveness. We so often find ourselves the most difficult to love and to forgive, because those mistakes we make—poor judgment, bad choices, costly errors, hurtful actions—are hard to let go of. We obsess about them. I know I have.
But this is the reason for our existence.

We are here to make those mistakes and learn from them. When we accept that we are all one with each other, and that we are all fumbling along in this strange hologram we call “life,” we no longer feel the surge of flood waters pulling us. We relax into the flow and allow the waters to carry us, instead of fighting them. Life feels easier.
“Living a Life of Awareness”
From don Miguel Ruiz Jr.’s “Living a Life of Awareness”:
“Sometimes we can’t fix what has been broken. The act of surrender is accepting that truth. This can be very difficult to do when our grief is so strong that it won’t let us see any other possibility. Be gentle with yourself in these moments. Nothing is gained by denying your feelings, forcing them into your subconscious. Remember that you have to feel your emotions and honor them for them to pass. If we look deeply into any situation that appears to be broken, we can see that nothing is ever really lost. It may take time, but as our emotions subside, we can begin to see the different possibilities still present before us.”
I hope this series of blogs has something in it that you found to be helpful and/or valuable to you as you continue your journey in this life. You may be a remote viewer, exploring reality beyond the limits of normal time and space. You may be my student. You may be a total stranger. Just know that these letters are raw, uncensored ponderings from my own heart to yours. I love you. Hang in there, no matter what. If you have time, write and tell me your story. Let me know what resonated with you. Lori@Intuitivespecialists.com
