You...
You have been on my heart a lot lately. (By “you” – I mean you. You who are learning along with me during this roller coaster ride we call “life”.)
Thinking of you this morning, I felt full of love for you and prayed for your wellbeing. For your physical, emotional and spiritual health. For abundance - in every sense of the word - to fill and surround you.
Your Gifts...
Have you noticed how certain themes will present themselves, over and over, in our lives? A lesson that I keep seeing over and over is about our gifts. We all have gifts.
Sometimes, it can be difficult to see the gifts you have to share. Are you an artist? Do you give good hugs? Maybe you have the gift of comfort – the ability to be able to comfort others because you have seen so much pain in your own life.
Light and Darkness...
Like everything in life, it is the push and pull that shaves off our rough edges and brings out the gold within. The constant dichotomy of light and darkness, good and evil. We are all beset with faults and failings that tend to weigh us down and make us think that we are no earthly good to anyone.
But that is a lie – a lie that attempts to hold us back and prevent us from sharing our gifts with those who need them most.
The Lie...
If we fall prey to that lie - if we believe that we have nothing worthy to share - we can become totally defeated... and the biggest losers are those to whom our gifts belong. It is very possible that something you know – some bit of wisdom you carry within – is the exact piece of information that will save someone who is struggling.
Saving Someone...
We never know when one word, one smile, one comforting embrace — might save someone from the brink of disaster.
Whenever I am preparing to teach a class, I am filled with awe. To be able to share this knowledge is such a privilege, such an honor. To help others discover that we are all boundless; to see my students’ eyes fill with wonder and excitement when they accomplish something they didn’t even believe was possible... fills me with joy.
I am a mess.
Very aware of my weaknesses, my faults and my failings, how do I dare teach anyone? How can I do it?
Every time I prepare to teach, I send up a prayer and ask that I may be able to set aside that weight and allow myself to become a transparent vessel - to allow the knowledge and gifts I carry within to flow through me to the eager students waiting in anticipation right in front of me.
Everyone is “a mess”
We may all be messes... but it doesn’t really matter, as long as we can shove the mess aside, jump in, and help someone else who needs encouragement today.
Feel Love Today
I hope you feel love today. It is all around you. You can see it and feel it... when you look for it. And if you don’t see it, look over here. I love you!
Big hug,

Life has chewed me up and spit me out this month!! I’m full of anxiety, miss my healing school from the old days that kept me happy and my life turned into a Netflix movie!!! I have done extra work on the very first lesson… listening, observing, no nouns, and it’s fun!
Now off to rehearse the second. Thanks, Lori. There’s hope!
